Reason you started your blog:

I started my blog to have a place to visually display my New York City photography. I go for very long walks to de-stress and I had been taking many photos on my walking adventures. A blog seemed like a great home for all of the photos I was quickly amassing.

Story behind your blog’s name:

I am a photographer and since my blog features my photography of New York City, the first thing that popped into my head when creating my blog was my blog name which incorporates the city I love and the tool I use to capture its essence: NY Through The Lens.

What’s your blogging routine (location, time of day, etc):

I tend to blog two to three times a day. My posting times are fairly random and depend on the rest of my schedule. I never schedule posts. I prefer to blog based on my mood and what is on my mind.

When you’re not blogging, you’re…:

Taking photos!

Best/worst/weirdest blogging advice (given or to give):

Someone once anonymously told me that I blog too much about New York City and suggested I blog about other things. I have always assumed they missed the name of my blog.

Fun fact your readers don’t know about you:

I am also a musician. Since my blog is focused on my photography I almost never mention anything about being a musician on my blog. I think a lot of people would be surprised to know this about me at this point.
